Employers wishing to hire: 1. If I want to hire a person through Talis Group do I have to sign a contract? No, the search for an excellent candidate is a contingency search. That means you owe us nothing until you decide to hire a candidate we provided to you. You can review resumes we submit to you, ask us to set up interviews with our candidates and thoroughly review several choices. You owe us nothing, until you decide to hire one of our candidates. At that point, we provide a 90 day unconditional guarantee. If a candidate doesn’t work out for any reason within 90 days of employment, we will provide a suitable replacement FREE. 2. If I come to you for a temporary employee, am I responsible for employment taxes and workers compensation? No, if you contact Talis Group for a temporary, the employee will be the employee of Talis Group. Talis Group will handle all employment issues and taxes and will bill your company as would any other vendor for a set amount per hour. 3. What has Talis Group done BEFORE I receive a resume? Talis Group will have already interviewed the person, skill tested (if appropriate), matched the skills to your position and referenced checked the candidate BEFORE the resume is sent to you. We do not waste your time by having you review resumes of candidates that may not be interested in your position, lack the necessary skills that isn’t evident from reading the resume alone or have poor references. This is the true value of what we do. Candidates submitted to you are PREQUALIFIED for the position, saving you time and effort. 4. Aren’t all staffing companies the same? No. Many staffing companies have only been in business a very short time, have no actual physical location (work out of a person’s home) and don’t actually interview the applicants let alone provide reference checks until you express interest in a resume you have been forwarded. Many staffing companies haven’t even discussed the postion with the candidates they submit to you. This wastes YOUR time. You will know your staffing company is doing this when you constantly learn the candidates you are interested in have found a job, not available or can’t be reached. You will know your staffing company is not reference checking when they can’t tell you anything about the reference. You will know your staffing company has not interviewed when they can’t tell you in detail about the candidates experiences, career ambitions or skill sets. What sets Talis Group apart? We do what we SAY we will do. Job Applicants Questions: 1. Do I have to pay a fee to Talis Group to help me find a job? No. The fee is paid by the hiring company, not the applicant. 2. Are the jobs listed on your website updated regularly or are they old jobs? Our website is updated every few days. The jobs listed are valid jobs still open to applicants. We encourage you to apply as soon as possible. 3. Do I have to worry that you will send my resume out to many employers without my knowledge or input? No. We will be in constant communication with you and ask your permission before we send your resume anywhere. We will check with you to ensure you are interested in the position, the pay, the location and hours. 4. Aren’t all staffing companies the same? No. Many staffing companies have only been in business a very short time, have no physical location (work out of a person’s home), do not interview you about your work history and career ambitions, do not test you for certain skill sets and submit your resume to hiring managers without your consent and knowledge.
